How do you choose colour and finish with confidence?
A photograph or screen is not enough. Colour, movement and reflection change with light, surface scale and the materials already present in the room.
Begin with the colour family
Existing floors, timber, stone, fixed furniture and natural light narrow the choice to tones that genuinely belong in the space.
Then choose the finish level
Gloss, satin and matte respond differently to light. Texture instead describes how much movement remains visible and can be subtle or more pronounced.
The role of a sample
A physical sample reveals tone, reflection and hand movement in the actual light. It cannot predict every variation in artisan work, but it makes the decision far more informed.
